Save Data and all that's good with v 0.1.5!!

Okay, that's a lie, the new 0.1.5 version just has an actual Save Data system and nothing more, but it's an improvement so...

Anyway, here's a list off all known bugs and fixes before we get into the good stuff.

  • Donuts not working as intended. Will keep on coming as long as you hold one down, instead of just grabbing one and using it to feed the bearfox.
  • Bearfox will "flicker" when sleeping as the player moves between rooms.
  • Arcade is now unavailable at night.
  • Donuts are still available even if the bearfox is sleeping and continue to get charged onto your wallet.
  • Arcade music died.
  • Bath sponge, energy, food and bedroom button actual art assets coming soon.

Okay, now onto the

= ACTUAL GAME SAVE SYSTEM =

So, the way this work is as follows:

  • Game will save ONLY when you use the purple box with a mouse atop in the bedroom.
  • This will create a "BearfoxSaveData.txt" file in which your money and time are stored.
BearfoxSaveData.txt
How the file will look in your "Downloads" folder.
  • Upon loading, the game will ask roughly 10 TIMES for your save data file.
  • You are required to give it every time it's asked.
  • Have the time come and you don't have a "BearfoxSaveData.txt" file, just click outside the prompt box everytime it ask for the file, eventually you'll start from zero.
  • If you happen to not have a "BearfoxSaveData.txt" file but don't want to start from zero, create one with the same name and type "Time[number from 0 to 40]Money[number from 0 to 99999]"
  • You can manually change your save game data to match whatever you want, just don't expect to get an adult bearfox that way.
  • If something gets loaded uncorrectly, you can try again by pressing the "R" key (PC only)
  • Eventually I'll learn to use the "read string" thingie and this will get so much easier, but in the meantime, this is the solution I've found, hope you enjoy it.
  • You'll keep this file on your "Downloads" folder forever so you'll be able to play from where you left off everywhere you go.
